Ishwarpuram – Our Story
During the period of 1965 to 1972 in Maharashtra, Shri Padmanabh ji Achayra was successfully managing the project S.E.I.L. for the North East Students. The project helped the students mainly from Assam, Arunachal, Nagaland and Manipur to get into the main stream and helped to build their future.
Taking inspiration from the work started by you sir, we founded a charitable trust named ‘Ishwarpuram’ which successfully provided basic education and staying facilities to students from North East from the year 2003 till 2009.
The institution is located 25 km away from Pune city in a village named ‘Fulgaon’.
The premises consist of a well-constructed building of about 5000 sq.ft. in the area of 2 acres of land, owned by Ishwarpuram Trust.
The trust has organised education and hostel facilities for 17 students of Nagaland, for the year August 2016 – April 2017.
The selection for all the students was made by Rajbhavan, Nagaland.
We were running the project with the support of individuals, group of local people, social clubs, companies and trusts.
