Short term plans for Ishwarpuram consist of:
- Ensuring quality education for children.
- Generating steady source for procuring food grains.
- Improving overall hygiene.
- Providing quality medication to children.
The focus is also on ensuring clean water and uniterrupted power supply. Ishwarpuram, being located at a village has load shedding of upto 10 hours daily. This especially affects childrens' studies at night.
At ishwarpuram we are building an 'Om' shaped building that will also house mentally handicapped children and elderly
people in addition to under-privileged children. This building will be equipped with facilities such as library, gymnasium and
an open-air-theater. One part of the building is complete because of the help by people like you. Two parts still remain and it will cost us
~ Rs. 1 crore for their completion.
This new building will have a workshop for self-help programs like Welding, Plumbing, Turning, Fitting etc.
The ultimate aim of Ishwarpuram is to help under-privileged children become responsible and accountable citizens of India and inculcate the spirit of social work in them.
